According to research, around 20,000 deaths are caused by coronary heart diseases in the U.S. which is because of the second-hand smoke that has affected the lungs.

Quitting smoking will be very advantageous for your heart and your overall health. It is said that after twenty-five minutes of quitting smoking, your heart rate will drop and in just twelve hours, the level of carbon monoxide in your blood will reduce to normal which will let more oxygen reach the important organs like your heart. It is very important to take care of your heart if you do not want to experience life-threatening cardiac issues.
